This is my earliest guitar from around 1960 that I still have.
I did read somewhere that the Maple fretboard was only made in 1960.
I acquired this as a relic in my teens, and it had already been extensively modified.
The finger board was broken, so I made a white one as I only had some white plastic.
I also sprayed it with some spare car cellulose paint.
Some 50 years later on I made a black fingerboard for it.
It has two Trisonic pick-ups which are now famous on Brian May's guitar.
in 2019 I had new escutcheon plates professionally made (Back to black with white small plate) and had it rewired back to a single switch as it was originally.
The top three pictures are as it is now.
